FX Adds Two More Comedies 'The League,' 'Louie' latest series orders Broadcasting & Cable
FX is getting serious about its comedy slate, giving series orders to two half-hour laffers.
The League revolves around a group of longtime guy friends who participate in a fantasy football league. Louie stars comic Louis CK as a standup comic and newly single dad raising two daughters in New York City.

Discovery Communications completed a $500 million offering
of 5.625% senior notes Wednesday.
Discovery said in a statement that it will use the proceeds
to repay the remaining $428 million outstanding on a term loan due 2010. Any
remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, the company
said.

Viacom priced the debt offering it announced earlier
Wednesday, increasing the amount of the deal to $850
million from $750 million.
In a statement late Wednesday, Viacom said it sold $600
