Time Warner Cable is closing call centers in Waco and San Marcos, shifting jobs to Central Texas hub in Austin, The Waco Tribune-Herald Web site reports.
The story said the moves, announced internally last week, will take place by year end. Some 45 jobs in Waco were affected, and the employees were offered severance or to relocate to Austin, about 90 miles away.
